THE LEADERSHIP LAB
A Private Leadership Retreat for Women in Business
January 28–29, 2027 Orange County, California
Limited to 25 Women
You have spent years building your career.
➜ You have the expertise.
➜ The experience.
➜ The credibility.
➜ The responsibility.
Now the question is:What kind of leader do you want to be for the next chapter of your career, and what kind of influence do you want to have while you're there?THE LEADERSHIP LAB.
THE LEADERSHIP LAB.
The Leadership Lab is for women in leadership who want to step outside the demands of their everyday lives and intentionally create space to think, reflect, connect, and decide what they want next.
Let me give you a little more POV on this event:
This is not a traditional continuing education course or leadership conference. We ARE here to challenge how we think, lead, and live.
This is not an HR-mandated Leadership 101 training. We ARE here because we want to be, not because someone told us we had to be.
This is not for beginners. We ARE experienced experts.
And it is definitely not two days sitting in a hotel ballroom listening to “experts” tell you how to lead. (That is literally my version of hell, BTW.)
Imagine this: 25 senior women stepping outside the demands of their everyday lives for 1.5 days to think differently, connect deeply, challenge themselves, and intentionally define how they want to lead the next chapter of their careers, businesses, and lives.
Ashlee’s leadership frameworks have helped thousands of leaders communicate with clarity, lead with confidence, and perform at a higher level.
With Ashlee’s proven leadership frameworks, and a room of accomplished women beside you, you’ll leave The Leadership Lab with:
Clarity on what you want the next year of your career and life to look like
Greater self-awareness around how you lead, communicate, and respond under pressure
Stronger executive presence without changing who you are
More confident, intentional communication when the stakes are high
A clear plan for turning your biggest goals into action
A higher standard for yourself—your time, your leadership, your relationships, and your life
A trusted room of women who understand the level of responsibility, ambition, and complexity you carry
The Caliber of the Room Matters More Than You Think
The Leadership Lab is intentionally designed for experienced women with 15, 20, even 30+ years of professional and leadership experience.
You may be a:
C-suite executive, senior executive, or VP
Founder or CEO of an established company
Senior organizational leader
Business owner leading a team or organization
You are already accomplished. That is exactly what landed you here.
You are not coming into this room because you need someone to teach you the basics of leadership. You can scroll social media for those tips.
You are coming because you know exceptional leaders never stop working on themselves.
You want to expand your influence, in your company, your business, your industry, your community, and your life.
You want conversations with women who understand what it means to carry significant responsibility, make difficult decisions, navigate competing priorities, and still want more from the next chapter.
And you want the space to step outside of the day-to-day long enough to ask:
How do I want to lead from here?
Because at this stage of your career, growth is not about learning how to become a leader.
It is about becoming even more intentional about the leader you already are.
My Version of Self-Care:
At this stage of your life, self-care isn't always an afternoon away from your responsibilities.
Sometimes the greatest investment you can make in yourself is creating enough space to think.
To examine how you're leading.
To challenge the patterns that no longer serve you.
To have the conversation you've been avoiding.
To get clear about what you want next.
To surround yourself with women operating at a similar level.
To strengthen your mindset, communication, decision-making, confidence, and self-trust.
And to ask yourself: Who do I want to be as a leader in today's world?
That is the kind of self-care we're practicing here.
You will step away from your company, your team, your family, your inbox, and the constant responsibility of being the person everyone else needs, and spend intentional time investing in the person responsible for leading all of it: You.

Frequently Asked Questions
↓
-
The Leadership Lab is specifically designed for senior executive-level women with approximately 15–20+ years of professional and leadership experience.
Attendees should currently hold significant leadership responsibility within a company, organization, business, or team.
-
Not necessarily.
You should currently have significant leadership responsibility. That may include leading people directly, overseeing a department or organization, running an established business, owning major strategic initiatives, or holding an executive-level position where your decisions influence others.
-
No.
The Leadership Lab is intentionally small, interactive, and personal. With only 25 women in the room, you won't spend the day sitting through keynote presentations or passively taking notes.
You'll be part of the conversation.
Expect reflection, meaningful discussion, real-world leadership scenarios, expert perspectives, practice, and connection with women operating at a similar level.
Think executive working session meets leadership retreat.
-
We’ll focus on the leadership skills and behaviors that matter most when the stakes are high: self-awareness, mindset, communication, difficult conversations, decision-making, executive presence, accountability, influence, and leading under pressure.
But you won’t just talk about leadership.
You’ll practice it.
You’ll bring real situations from your own career into the room, the conversations you’re avoiding, decisions you’re navigating, relationships that require more intention, and leadership challenges that don’t have an obvious answer.
The retreat is built around three things accomplished women rarely make enough time for:
Reflection. Connection. Practice.
Reflection on how you lead - your mindset, behaviors, communication, priorities, patterns, and influence.
Connection with 24 other experienced women who understand the complexity, responsibility, and pressure that come with leading at a high level.
Practice navigating the situations that actually test your leadership: conflict, difficult conversations, uncertainty, feedback, boundaries, accountability, executive communication, and high-stakes decisions.
This isn't about collecting more information or learning another leadership framework.
It's about becoming more intentional with the experience, expertise, and influence you already have, and strengthening how you show up when it matters most.
-
Because intimacy is part of the experience.
I want everyone to participate.
I want us to know one another.
I want honest conversations.
I want you to be able to bring something real into the room and actually work through it.
And I want the relationships built during these 1.5 days to matter long after January 29.
The room is part of the curriculum.

Applying does not guarantee acceptance.

This isn't about proving you're accomplished enough to belong.
It's about making sure this is the right room for you and that you're right for the room.
If you're ready to step outside the day-to-day, invest in yourself, and become more intentional about the leader you want to be for your next chapter, I want to hear from you.

Why Leaders Choose
Ashlee Klevens Hayes, PharmD, MHA, brings a rare combination of clinical precision, operational leadership, and executive-level strategy to her work with leaders and organizations.
She began her career as a clinical pharmacist in a Level I trauma center, working alongside physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams responsible for critically ill patients. In that environment, clarity is not optional. Communication must be precise, roles must be understood, and decisions must move quickly—often under significant pressure.
Those experiences shaped the way Ashlee leads today.
Over the course of her career, she has trained more than 10,000 professionals and leaders and worked directly with thousands more on communication, leadership, decision-making, and performance.
Today, Ashlee works as a Strategic Advisor and Integrator, operating inside growing organizations alongside CEOs, founders, and leadership teams. Her work focuses on creating clarity across people, priorities, communication, accountability, and execution—helping organizations turn vision into measurable action.
But Ashlee’s work extends beyond how companies operate.
She believes the most important leadership work is often deeply personal: how you communicate, how you make decisions, how you behave under pressure, how you manage competing priorities, and how intentionally you choose to lead your life.
That philosophy is at the heart of The Leadership Lab—a room designed for accomplished women who are ready to step outside the demands of their everyday lives and intentionally define how they want to lead what comes next.
