About Ashlee Klevens Hayes
Helping leaders and teams communicate clearly, align priorities, and execute at a higher level.
Here, Leadership Meets Execution
Ashlee Klevens Hayes is a leadership communication strategist, advisor, and entrepreneur who helps high-performing professionals and leadership teams eliminate ambiguity, strengthen ownership, and execute with clarity when the stakes are high.
Her work sits at the intersection of communication, operations, and leadership behavior, helping talented people translate ideas into clear direction and consistent execution.
This approach didn’t begin in a boardroom or on a keynote stage. It began at the bedside of critically ill patients.
Ashlee began her career as a clinical pharmacist in a Level I trauma center, working alongside physicians, surgeons, nurses, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams responsible for critically ill patients. In that environment, clarity isn’t optional. When lives depend on teamwork, communication must be precise, roles must be clearly defined, and execution must be disciplined. After leaving clinical practice, Ashlee began to notice a different version of the same challenge in high-stakes corporate and business environments. The experts around the table were talented, educated, and motivated. Their ideas were strong.
But execution was slow. Communication was vague. Ambiguity was everywhere. Leaders struggled to translate their thinking into a clear direction. Teams were not fully aligned. Decisions stalled, momentum slowed, and strong ideas lost traction. Most importantly, many of these professionals had never been taught how to clearly articulate their thinking, communicate their expertise, or explain their ideas when the stakes were high.
Talent Isn’t the Problem. Communication Is.
As a third generation pharmacist, the entrepreneurial and business world wasn’t the path Ashlee originally planned. But it became the foundation for the work she does today. Ashlee’s work now focuses on helping experts and leadership teams install simple, practical systems that eliminate ambiguity and strengthen execution. Because when priorities are clear, ownership is defined, and communication is consistent, teams move faster, trust each other more, and perform at a higher level.
It all comes down to three core principles:
→ Clarity creates alignment.
→ Alignment builds trust.
→ Trust drives performance.
From the Bedside to Leadership Performance
Once, Ashlee worked alongside medical teams to ensure the right medication reached the right patient at the right time. Today, she helps leaders find the right solutions to complex business challenges.
Through RX Ashlee, she works with experts, founders, and leadership teams who want to elevate how they communicate and lead. Since 2016, she has advised and prepared more than 7,500 professionals—some through leadership advisory and team workshops, and others through high-stakes career strategy and interview preparation. Beyond her advisory work, Ashlee has built, scaled, and operated businesses both large and small—grounding her work in real-world execution, not theory.
Her goal is always the same: to help talented professionals communicate their thinking clearly so their ideas are understood, their leadership is trusted, and their teams perform at their highest level.

The Values Behind the Work
You may notice the bee in the RX Ashlee logo — a small but meaningful detail.
It traces back to Ashlee’s dad, whom everyone called Buzzy, a respected leader in the pharmacy profession and a defining influence on how she approaches work, leadership, and responsibility.
Like a hive, high-performing teams depend on clearly defined roles, shared responsibility, and consistent execution.
The bee represents the values she learned from her dad: contribution over ego, discipline in execution, systems that support the whole ecosystem, and building a legacy that lasts beyond yourself.
The bee is a quiet reminder that great work is rarely done alone.
The strongest teams thrive when every member contributes to something bigger than themselves.
Beyond the Work
Ashlee lives in Southern California with her husband and their two daughters. Her husband is an orthopaedic trauma surgeon, and their life is shaped by the realities of high-pressure decision-making and unpredictable schedules — reinforcing her belief in building systems that support both professional and personal life.
Outside of work, she coaches youth sports, skis, runs marathons, lifts heavy weights, dreams of living in France one day, and spends most of her time supporting her daughters’ thriving social activities.
She lives by the philosophy that leadership isn’t limited to the workplace. It’s practiced every single day.
